Job summary

RISINGSUN TECHNOLOGIES in Bangor, ME seeks an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and verify programs for Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience
  • Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in manufacturing or operations
  • Hands-on CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience machining large and complex components
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming, verification, and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, or similar CAM software
  • Program multi-axis milling, turning, and grinding operations
  • Verify CNC programs using Vericut before production release
  • Provide CNC programming support to Manufacturing Engineers and production teams
  • Train machine operators during new equipment installations and process improvements
  • Troubleshoot CNC programming issues and provide daily shop floor support
  • Support tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machining operations
  • Develop and maintain work instructions and CNC process documentation
  • Create inspection documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Establish tooling consumption standards and inventory requirements
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Communicate technical information clearly with engineering and production personnel
