GE Vernova is seeking a Process Industrialization engineer to drive the standard method for developing and industrializing manufacturing processes. What impact you’ll make
As a member of the Process Industrialization team, you will be an active contributor to create, maintain, and execute the standard in how to develop and industrialize manufacturing processes using a team-based approach. This role executes steps to move process from development to production; driving the hand off process, post deployment support, and problem solving to finish the industrialization of a process into full production. Focus is on meeting the needs of the production teams as internal customers.
Utilize in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute team demands and roadmap initiatives
Executes hand offs for new product introductions, part and technology transfers, new process introductions, and strategic plant and equipment investments; inclusive of lead time, technology selection, tooling, fixturing, programming, quality plan, and run-off of initial production sets
Execute hands-on development of new products and processes enabling a successful hand-off to the production team
Supports project timelines to meet customer needs with a strong focus on safety, process quality, qualifications, and problem solving
Support problem solving post deployment
Strong ability to identify and eliminate waste
Engineering, standardizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes
Participate in productivity efforts supporting cost competitiveness
Incorporate lean manufacturing principles into process development
Utilize kaizen activities for continuous improvement and collaborate with wider team on breakthrough initiative
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of equivalent experience)
Minimum of 4 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment
Ability and desire to work on site in a manufacturing environment
