Greenheck Group, a leading HVAC equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II/Sr. to optimize costs, quality, and customer service through advanced manufacturing processes, tooling, and layout improvements. This role supports multiple sites and may involve relocation to Knoxville, TN.

The position emphasizes Lean initiatives, data-driven decisions, and cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency and sustainability across production.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in engineering required.
• CAD skills required.
• 2 Year / Associate Degree in engineering or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
• 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in engineering is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• General fluency in SAP.
• Experience with Lean concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement moderate complexity training initiatives to support manufacturing.
• Identify, specify, and justify moderate complexity capital expenditures.
• Investigate, purchase, and implement tooling and equipment to support daily operations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Recognize, recommend and validate design and process changes to improve manufacturability. Implement changes with product design engineering.
• Identify and implement improvements to material utilization, department layout and machinery efficiency.
