Base pay range

$79,001.00/yr - $94,800.00/yr

About the Role

Dynamic Manufacturing is seeking a highly technical Manufacturing Engineer to develop processes in the CNC Machining/Tooling Department, focusing on improving product quality, productivity, operational flow, lead time, and reducing product costs. The individual will provide leadership and cultivate an environment that supports teamwork, continuous improvement, and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Design and select tooling, fixtures, and gauges to ensure quality parts from CNC mills and lathes
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines using CAD/CAM software and shop floor programming
  • Ensure part conformance with measurement tools
  • Develop set-up sheets and work procedures
  • Optimize set-up times, cycle times, and workflow
  • Analyze and recommend workflow and layout improvements
  • Manage machines and develop maintenance/upgrades
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams for process improvements
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality
  • Quote and estimate cycle times from prints or CAD models
  • Coach and train operators
  • Adjust setups to improve yields and cycle times
  • Monitor work in progress and inform management of issues
  • Develop performance metrics and SOPs
  • Increase productivity and reduce scrap
  • Participate in equipment and process selection
  • Develop flow of operations and processes
  • Assist in inspection process development
  • Promote safety rules and practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a machine shop environment
  • 5-10 years of CNC machining experience
  • Experience with lathes, mills, and CNC programming in CAD/CAM
  • Knowledge of machining concepts, capacity planning, and quality control
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
