This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career engineer who enjoys solving technical problems on the manufacturing floor, working hands‑on with equipment, and using data to improve manufacturing performance. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities
  • Support development and optimization of manufacturing processes and production equipment. Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and improve quality, yield, and productivity.
  • Assist with commissioning, validation, and startup of new manufacturing equipment and production lines.
  • Work closely with operations and technicians to resolve manufacturing issues and implement process improvements.
  • Develop work instructions, manufacturing documentation, PFMEAs, control plans, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support root‑cause investigations using structured problem‑solving tools and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in equipment design reviews, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and production readiness activities.
  • Design or improve tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing aids to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, reliability, ergonomics, and manufacturing performance.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Quality, Operations, and external vendors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 1–4 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, automation, or mechanical design (internship and co‑op experience considered).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in manufacturing equipment and production processes.
  • Experience analyzing engineering or manufacturing data using Excel, JMP, Minitab, Python, or similar tools.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues using a structured approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
