JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer II

LOCATION: 1319 Rocky Point Drive, Suite 100, Oceanside, CA 92056

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for implementing machine additions/updates, improving both

production and functional processes, and collaborating with and providing

mentoring to other functions.

The specific duties include:

(1) driving improvements to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth at Oceanside;

(2) implementing new processes/equipment, new product designs, application of lean manufacturing principles, increase equipment reliability, error proofing, and root cause and corrective action;

(3) managing capital and expense projects using the best practices and required processes for each;

(4) supporting day to day production needs such as equipment troubleshooting and quality concerns;

(5) collaborating with operations, RD&I, maintenance, and supply chain planning functions in the site Tier 4 and other forums; and

(6) promoting a hands on, high involvement approach to problem solving.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or closely

related field

• Five years of post-bachelors progressive engineering experience with mechanical aptitude;

Experience must include:

  • Knowledge and application of methodologies associated with project planning
  • Working with collaborative cross-functional teams
  • CNC programming experience (G-code, or other languages)

SALARY: $129,355.00

PROFIT SHARING:In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
