You will work in multidisciplinary teams to bring concepts to fruition, covering advanced payloads, electronic systems, aircraft, and space systems. You will consult with various teams to develop efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with technical and project leads and impacted teams.
  • Support data analysis to validate Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
  • Provide technical support to ensure mission success and resolve anomalies.
  • Review engineering requirements and drawings for manufacturability and producibility feedback.
  • Investigate technical problems.
  • Implement Lean principles and technologies.
  • Interface with IPTs and internal customers for product development and knowledge sharing.
  • Establish make/buy plans for electrical components and wire bundles.
  • Author and update electrical installation and modification work instructions.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with typically 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Higher education may substitute for experience.
  • Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
  • Background in Aerospace and Defense Industry.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard design principles, including parametric design, model-based definition, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with work instruction development and disposition of Non-Conformance through MRB.
  • Experience with new product introduction and transition to production.
  • Exposure to PLM, MES, and MRP systems.
