Location: York, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Full-Time | Contract
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM
Note: Early weekday OT and weekend OT may be required. Mandatory Wednesday staff meeting until 7:15 AM.


STS Technical Services is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support night shift operations in York, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in welding processes, metal fabrication, and manufacturing optimization. Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical support for welding and fabrication processes across a dynamic production environment. This includes tooling development, process optimization, cost reduction initiatives, and collaboration with quality, engineering, and production teams. You'll be hands-on in identifying and resolving equipment, quality, and throughput challenges to ensure manufacturing goals are met.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for welding, metal fabrication, and manufacturing equipment
  • Ensure parts and assemblies are processed and tooled for optimal quality, efficiency, and cost
  • Collaborate with quality, product engineering, and manufacturing support teams
  • Address and resolve daily production, equipment, and quality concerns
  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives by improving manufacturing efficiency and schedule attainment
  • Support continuous improvement programs and implement process enhancements
  • Participate in required off-shift staff meetings and project coordination

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience with welding and metal fabrication processes
  • Strong understanding of tooling, process flow, and quality standards
  • Ability to diagnose and solve production challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
