Parker Meggitt, a recent addition to Parker Hannifin, is a global leader in the Commercial and Military Aerospace markets, specializing in a wide range of products including power generation and conversion systems, magnetics, and sensors for extreme environments. Located in Milwaukie, OR (in the Greater Portland Area), this site is within the Fire Safety & Power Systems Division (FSPSD) and is a key supplier in select aircraft and ground vehicle markets, spanning business jet, narrow body, wide body, and fighter jet platforms as well as military ground vehicles. We work directly with some of the largest aerospace companies in the world, including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon, among others.
The Manufacturing Engineer I position provides a range of expertise on a variety of complex manufacturing issues to support and improve the manufacturing capabilities to produce products within the Mags and Sensors Value Stream. Contributes to improving a range of fabrication processes that can directly impact the sustaining and growth efforts of operations. The primary function of this position is to provide engineering support directly to the manufacturing floor. The individual in this position is responsible for sustainable results versus stated objectives in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering
