Job summary

Under technical direction, you will analyze problems, implement corrective actions for efficient manufacturing, identify required tools and fixtures, install and debug equipment, and update routings while performing time studies and using ERP data to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial engineering or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop data-driven solutions in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software.
• Experience with manufacturing data analysis; laser programming desirable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and analyze manufacturing problems under technical direction.
• Support workflow analysis and plant layouts for improved product flow.
• Identify tools, jigs, fixtures, or equipment for new or existing lines.
• Install and debug production equipment.
• Update manufacturing routings and work guidelines.
• Perform time studies and monitor processes to reduce losses and improve quality.
• Create CNC laser programs and production nests to optimize throughput.
• Use ERP to retrieve and maintain production information.
• Justify and manage projects up to $25,000.
• Perform 3D scanning and dimensional data capture to support inspection and tooling validation.
