Job Description As a Manufacturing Engineer supporting Flexible Fabrication, you will enable low- to medium-volume production of metal components and assemblies—from prototype development through production readiness. You will drive process improvements, streamline digital workflows, and proactively support the value stream to meet on-time delivery requirements for parts and key deliverables. Success in this role requires strong technical judgment, hands‑on manufacturing experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Product Engineering, Application Engineering, and Pontiac Metal Center Flexible Fabrication operations.
Flexible Fabrication serves as GM’s rapid‑response manufacturing resource, supporting prototype, low‑volume, and specialty production through advanced fabrication technologies and innovative manufacturing solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of programs while helping shape the future of agile manufacturing at GM.
