Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for our programs, assisting in the development of comprehensive recovery plans for various projects. You will perform reviews of contract and design requirements to ensure the acceptance of quality notifications, track the status of project schedules and deliverables, and work closely with the Unit Manager to maintain contract performance metrics. Additionally, you will interface with both Design and Manufacturing Engineering teams to manage changes to component designs and support quotes for new work by reviewing technical requirements and preparing person‑hour estimates. This position also offers the opportunity to perform special assignments as deemed necessary, making it an excellent chance to launch your engineering career in a collaborative environment.

Your Day to Day as Manufacturing Engineer

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Civil Engineering; candidates with a degree from an ABET accredited institution will be preferred.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience providing engineering support in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Familiarity with SAP preferred

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $65,000–$103,000 per year, based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected candidate, such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. The total compensation package may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
