Job summary

Rantec Power Systems Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in California to own product manufacturability and drive efficient, cost-effective production with quality and safety in mind.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure DFM guidelines are followed, review new product docs, and manage fixtures, tooling, and equipment while pursuing Lean manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS degree in an engineering discipline and 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to assess risk and make sound material acceptance decisions.
• Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own product manufacturability and develop/monitor manufacturing processes and tools.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure DFM guidelines are followed.
• Review and approve new product engineering documents as Manufacturing DFM Gatekeeper.
