Join our growing team at metrica Interior, Inc., a premier luxury millwork and furniture shop renowned for our commitment to craftsmanship and quality. We specialize in creating bespoke cabinetry and furniture pieces that blend traditional woodworking techniques with modern technology.

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Work Prep Technician with a strong background in woodworking and cabinet making. The ideal candidate will possess computer proficiency, particularly in AutoCAD and Excel, and have experience with 3-axis CNC programming. However, we are open to training individuals who demonstrate expertise in millwork construction and production workflows.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Deconstruct cabinetry components using AutoCAD to create detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Document manufacturing processes and installation sequences in Excel.
  • Program 3-axis CNC machines to produce precise parts.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize production workflows.
  • Ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.
  • Background in woodworking, cabinet making, or millwork construction.
  • Experience with 3-axis CNC programming is a plus; training available for the right candidate.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
