The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Capability Acquisition, Automation, and Digital Engineering to enable robust, efficient, and scalable manufacturing solutions.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for learning a specialised R&D manufacturing process developed at another location and supporting the team in scaling that process for full industrial production. You’ll play a key role in process optimisation, equipment integration, and technical problem‑solving to ensure a smooth and efficient transition to large‑scale manufacturing. This role requires a high level of independence, initiative, and cross‑functional collaboration. With this attractive role, you will have an opportunity to work on the following:

  • Learn and understand the existing R&D process developed at our HTC site.

  • Collaborate with the Capability Acquisition, Automation, and Digital teams to develop and implement scalable manufacturing solutions.

  • Support process optimisation, documentation, and validation to ensure repeatability, efficiency, and quality.

  • Drive improvements in manufacturing throughput, cost, and reliability.

  • Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with scaling.

  • Work cross‑functionally to integrate automation and digital tools into the production process.

  • Maintain a self‑directed approach to problem‑solving and project execution with minimal supervision.

  • Act as a liaison between the R&D and production teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and alignment.
