Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) in Cypress, CA. This onsite role supports operations, develops and improves manufacturing processes, and ensures safety, quality, cost and delivery targets are met.

You will maintain Production Technical Packages, drive Right First Time manufacturing and work with cross-functional teams. A degree in science/engineering with relevant experience or higher is required, and U.S.

Associate degree in Science, Technology or Engineering with 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or CMC Manufacturing experience, OR
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology or Engineering with 1+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or CMC Manufacturing experience, OR
Master's degree in Science, Technology or Engineering, OR
JD/PhD in Science, Technology or Engineering, OR
5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or CMC Manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and methods of manufacture.
Maintain and govern Production Technical Packages for all parts.
Ensure processes comply with Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and Zero Harm expectations.
Promote zero defects and Right First Time manufacturing using RRPS, DMAIC and Systems Engineering tools.
Work with interfacing teams and local experts to align technical aspects of processes and digital systems.
Pursue self-development to meet required competencies for the role.
