Job summary

Weco Manufacturing seeks a skilled engineer to interpret customer drawings and determine optimal manufacturing approaches, using available equipment and current schedules. You will write setup sheets, guide shop floor with fixtures and tooling, and model parts in 3D CAD to support production.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years of engineering experience, with strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Knowledge of ISO 9001 workflows is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Engineering or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer drawings and determine best manufacturing method given equipment and schedule.
• Write setup sheet work instructions with fixturing, tooling and project details.
• Proficient in writing detailed work instructions for fabrication processes.
• Utilize 3D CAD to help shop floor understand manufacturing processes.
• 3D model customer parts from provided drawings using CAD software.
• Assist fixture design/work holding on the shop floor to improve efficiency.
