Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering required.
  • 3+ years hands-on engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Experience documenting manufacturing processes and build documentation.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks) with GD&T and drawings standards.
  • Familiar with ASME welding procedures and pressure systems.
  • Collaborates with technicians, welders, and machinists to solve problems.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment using 3D CAD and shop-floor insight.
  • Create work orders, drawings, BOMs, and routings for builds.
  • Support fabrication and assembly with technical guidance and documentation.
  • Perform engineering calculations for thermal, structural, and fluid systems.
  • Own projects from concept to commissioning, managing schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to throughput and quality.
  • Collaborate with welders, machinists, and assembly technicians to communicate intent.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist with procurement and vendor coordination to meet specs and timelines.
  • Maintain engineering records, build notes, and lessons learned.
  • Travel approximately 10% to support Sedron facilities.
