Job summary

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, 5+ years in manufacturing, strong communication and computer skills, and hands-on equipment experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer skills and strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Carries out process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training.
  • Improves manufacturing processes and methods of cost-reductions, quality improvement and efficiency.
  • Prepares and presents plans for the above and coordinate deployment including training of team members.
  • Assists Engineering Manager in improving system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control and training.
  • Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
  • Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
  • Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.
  • Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
  • Performs product /process analysis and time studies for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.

JOB SUMMARY:

TH Plastics, Inc., is a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Bowling Green, Ohiomolding division.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Manufacturing Engineer position develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls; coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
