Job summary
American Battery Technology Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and implement proprietary lithium-ion battery recycling and primary resource extraction systems at a commercial scale. You will work with R&D, plant operations, and process engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facilities from design through ramp and operation.

Qualifications
- Background in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics preferred).
- 2+ years of engineering experience in production/manufacturing.
- Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting first-in-kind manufacturing lines.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement battery recycling and extraction systems on a commercial scale.
- Translate concepts to detailed engineering plans and layouts.
- Integrate process, material handling, and other equipment into efficient manufacturing systems.
- Develop equipment specs, narratives, and operating procedures.
- Generate fabrication drawings and 3D models for external fabrication.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for integration and ramp plans.
- Support operations with test plans and feedback for continuous improvement.
