Job summary

Volt is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Liberty, NC, to support large-scale battery manufacturing initiatives. You will work cross-functionally to manage engineering projects, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-growing environment.

The role requires 3–10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or related industries, with hands-on ability to interpret drawings and collaborate across teams. Pay rate ranges from $50–75 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, production, automotive, battery, industrial, or engineering project environments.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, equipment installations, facility improvements, or capital projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing, production, facility, and equipment engineering projects.
• Investigate feasibility, scope, schedules, budgets, and requirements.
• Develop and maintain drawings, layouts, models, and technical docs.
• Create scopes of work, bid packages, and installation packages.
• Coordinate equipment installations, facility mods, and utility integration.
