Job summary

Applied Composites is seeking an Engineer 1, Manufacturing to join our team in Los Alamitos, CA. This full-time, entry-level role focuses on improving manufacturing capabilities and processes to support existing products and the introduction of new products to our operations and supply chain.

The role emphasizes problem solving, lean manufacturing principles, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver timely engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise in developing engineering solutions to improve manufacture of products.
• Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and practices to make judgments.
• Effectively exchanges straightforward technical information and checks for understanding.
• Participates in the team's design and development work for new products.
• Contributes to improving processes that can directly impact growth of operations.
• Works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually

Applied Composites (AC) is seeking anEngineer 1, Manufacturingwhoprovides expertise in improving the manufacturing capabilities to produce products. Contributes to improving fabrication processes that can directly impact the sustaining and growth efforts of operations. Participates in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and supply chain environment.

• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
