Join a rapidly growing manufacturing organization experiencing significant business expansion and continued investment in its operations. With manufacturing currently spread across three facilities, the company is preparing to expand into a fourth building, a new 250,000 sq. ft. facility scheduled to come online in April 2027.

Specializing in heavy fabrication and metal enclosures, this organization is experiencing strong business demand and investing in the infrastructure needed to support its continued growth.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in this expansion, helping optimize manufacturing processes, establish efficient production workflows, and develop manufacturing cells and value streams within the new facility. This individual will also drive continuous improvement initiatives across the existing operations, helping maximize capacity, efficiency, and production output.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the launch of a new 250,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, helping establish efficient production workflows, manufacturing cells, and material flow.
  • Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes across four facilities to improve productivity, throughput, and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with fabrication, welding, and assembly operations to identify bottlenecks and improve production performance.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to develop and modify plant layouts and manufacturing cell configurations.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience within a heavy manufacturing, fabrication, or metalworking environment.
  • Experience supporting fabrication, welding, sheet metal, and/or assembly operations.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, manufacturing cells, workflow optimization, and value streams.
  • Experience with A3 problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Excel.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing manufacturing organization making significant investments in its future. With strong business demand, expanding operations, and a new 250,000 sq. ft. facility on the horizon, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on manufacturing processes, operational efficiency, and the company's continued growth.

If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, drive improvements, and help shape the next phase of a growing operation, we'd like to hear from you!
