Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. in Whippany, NJ is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to improve production processes, optimize workflows, and support the successful production of highly engineered aerospace products.

You will drive operational efficiency, develop manufacturing methods, implement tooling and fixtures, and partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field with manufacturing experience.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes, work instructions, routers, and production documentation.
• Proficiency with CAD software and knowledge of GD&T.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and AS9100 quality systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, routers, build books, SOPs, and production standards for aerospace products and overhaul/repair operations
• Design and implement factory layouts, manufacturing cells, material flow improvements, tooling, fixtures, and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Review engineering drawings and product designs for manufacturability while identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and test-related issues, working directly with technicians, machinists, engineers, suppliers, and quality personnel to resolve production challenges
• Support capital equipment selection, process automation initiatives, manufacturing audits, and continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles

Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 DOE

As our manufacturing operations continue to grow, we are seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer to improve production processes, optimize manufacturing workflows, and support the successful production of highly engineered aerospace products. This individual will drive operational efficiency, develop manufacturing methods, implement tooling and fixtures, and partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

What You Will Be Doing

What You Need for This Position

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment
• Experience developing manufacturing processes, production documentation, tooling, fixtures, work instructions, routers, and manufacturing workflows
• Proficiency with CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar 3D modeling platforms
• Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing methods, machining, fabrication processes, root cause analysis, and Lean Manufacturing principles
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems, robotics, PLC programming, FAA/EASA requirements, and continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable
