Job summary

Globus Medical in Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and maintain methods, sequences, and processes for spinal implant manufacturing. You will work with design engineers to release new products and estimate manufacturing costs, time standards, and tooling needs.

The role focuses on driving efficiency, reducing cycle times, and ensuring compliance with 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485. You will create PFMEA, control plans, process flows, work instructions, and inspection plans while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Experience in 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485 regulated environments.
• Proven ability to read prints and perform GD&T, and collaborate with CNC programmers and QA engineers.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing initiatives for existing product families and new launches.
• Develop and optimize processes from raw material to final assembly.
• Create and maintain PFMEA, control plans, process flows, and work instructions.
• Drive efficiency through cycle-time reduction, waste elimination, and tooling improvements.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and effective handoffs.

Support new initiatives and productivity targets for given manufacturing processes. Interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimate manufacturing cost, determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
