Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking an Associate Manager, Manufacturing to drive development and execution of production plans and staffing. You will coordinate schedules, optimize processes, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance to meet budget goals in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires coaching direct reports, managing performance metrics, and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to deliver reliable manufacturing outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Requires ability to oversee production schedules and manpower; lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and quality systems in manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or higher; or 3 years with Master’s; or PhD without experience.

  • Plans for and supports the department’s future needs and operations.
  • Supports cross-functional collaboration across engineering, group managers, customers, and other departments.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Recruits, selects, and onboarding of new operators.
  • Maintains stable workflow and evaluates production performance metrics.

Position Summary

As an Associate Manager, Manufacturing, you will manage the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet performance, schedule, quality, cost, and budget objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Maintain stable workflow processes and oversee production performance metrics/results. Develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Essential Functions
  • Plans for and supports the department’s future needs and operations
  • Supports engagement and collaboration efforts across cross-functional teams, including engineering, group managers, customers, and other departments as needed
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with all company and regulatory policies and procedure
  • Provides support for continued organizational growth by recruiting, selecting and onboarding new operators
  • Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for solving problem
  • Maintains stable workflow processes and oversee production performance metrics and implements changes to receive optimal results
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
Qualifications
  • Ability to perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands
  • Engage in regular coaching and leadership development of direct reports
  • Basic understanding of MS Office software, specifically Excel and PowerPoint Business, analytical, organizational, and planning skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
