Job Summary

Supermicro is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team for conducting the failure analysis of Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) products, Engineering Change Order (ECO) tasks, product conversion job. The candidate is responsible for daily repairs, rework, modifications and diagnosing the products, isolating and analyzing the defective PCBA products to identify the root cause of failure. Execute appropriate tests to validate the fix and prepare the report for the management team to improve and raise product quality level. The candidate can work efficiently in the fast-paced production environment to meet dynamic sale demand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily failure analysis of defect PCBA products from Production Line.
  • Fix the issue and execute appropriate test to validate the result.
  • Provide report for Production Management team product quality reviews.
  • Work with R&D and QA team to diagnose and analyze the root cause to the defective PCBA products for quality improvement.
  • Responsible for implementation of Engineering Change Order (ECO) tasks, product conversion and modification to meet production schedules.
  • Follow the ISO guidelines to cultivate and promote industrial work safety, quality, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
  • Willing to do assigned tasks requested by the company. Support management to achieve the company business target.
Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
  • Able to read and understand the Bill of Material and electronic parts data sheet.
  • Read and understand electronic schematic diagram is advantageous.
  • Holding of IPC-A-610 or IPC-7711/7721 is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with technical tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, or diagnostic software is beneficial.
  • Minimum 2-year work experience in production or in industrial is desirable.
  • Junior position can be offered if candidates are interested in PCBA troubleshooting, repair and rework career
  • Basic or familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills in English, including both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Willingness to occasionally provide support beyond regular working hours for business need.
Salary Range

$73,500 - $100,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
