Job summary

Spherion is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support process readiness, engineering changes, equipment activities, and manufacturing system implementations in a regulated production setting. This contract role focuses on quality records, change executions, and controlled documentation.

You'll walk processes, support MES readiness, Windchill, and data management, collaborating with Operations and Quality to improve flow and manufacturability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or a related engineering field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within a regulated production setting.
  • Strong Windchill knowledge for managing engineering documentation and change activity.
  • Working knowledge of equipment qualification and validation processes and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience conducting and interpreting Gage R&R studies; strong knowledge of control plan development and maintenance.
  • Experience with Vault DMR updates and maintaining controlled manufacturing records.
  • Demonstrated experience with process changes, documentation, and cross-functional implementation.

  • Apply Gage R&R methods to evaluate measurement system capability and support process controls.
  • Develop, review, and maintain control plans to ensure manufacturing process consistency and compliance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations and Quality to improve flow, efficiency, and manufacturability.

This contract role focuses on supporting quality records, managing change executions, and maintaining controlled manufacturing documentation in a regulated production setting.

Responsibilities

  • Experience supporting manufacturing master data activities and MES readiness.
  • Familiarity with InfoPV equipment qualification documentation, execution support, and traceability.
  • Experience handling quality record systems such as NCRs, IEs, and CAPAs.
  • Strong background in process risk assessment and process walking for operational readiness.
