Job summary

Develops, manages, improves processes, manufacturing flows, layouts and systems.**Responsibilities:*** Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices and manufacturing methods (machining, tooling, gauging) in broad areas of assignments.* Applies advanced techniques and modifies theories, processes, and/or practices within scope of assignment.* Works independently, exercising a good deal of judgment. Receives guidance only on overall objectives and policy matters.* Works closely with manufacturing personnel to resolve process problems related to machinery testing and/or gauging. (Spends approximately 50% of time on the shop floor.)* May functionally supervise technicians and less experienced engineers.
