Responsibilities

  • Support development and refinement of manufacturing processes for airframe components and assemblies.
  • Assist with producibility reviews and manufacturing readiness for new or revised designs.
  • Translate drawings, models, specifications into practical manufacturing processes and work instructions.
  • Define tooling, fixtures, jigs, and assembly methods to support efficient production.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support root cause analysis for defects and process disruptions.
  • Collaborate with design engineering to improve manufacturability, assembly sequence, cost, and quality.
  • Maintain manufacturing documentation such as process plans and work instructions.

Job Title

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a prominent client. This position is located in Ridley Park, PA.

Job Description
  • Location: Ridley Park, PA (100% Onsite).
  • Pay: $58/hr W2.
  • 12‑month assignment with high possibility of extension based on performance and budget.
  • Shift: 7 AM to 4 PM.
  • Support development, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes for airframe structures and assemblies supporting the Chinook platform.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, quality, tooling, planning, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are producible, efficient, and compliant with program requirements.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Typically 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience working with mechanical assemblies or manufacturing processes, preferably in aerospace, defense, or another high-reliability industry.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, models, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience supporting problem‑solving activities such as root cause analysis or corrective action.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment.
