Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II or III in Orlando to drive manufacturability, plan layouts, and optimize production workflows for training simulators. Manufacturing Engineer II or III will facilitate the execution of the manufacture and integration of design in the most efficient and cost‑effective manner.
This role calls upon a breadth of mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills to ensure communication between manufacturing and design. It will assist the Senior Manufacturing Engineer in evaluating, developing, and improving manufacturing methods and processes, using knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Analyze and plan space requirements, workflow, and equipment layouts to ensure maximum efficiency.
