Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support our manufacturing and assembly operations in Somerset, NJ. You will troubleshoot issues on the production floor, create and revise assembly and test work instructions, and review CAD drawings to support builds.

You will drive continuous process improvements, own a product platform, and collaborate with design engineering, purchasing, quality, and suppliers to optimize manufacturing configurations.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3–4 years hands-on experience or a Master’s degree with 2–3 years hands-on experience.
  • Manufacturing engineering experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of building materials is preferred.
  • Experience creating work instructions is required.
  • Experience on the manufacturing floor solving problems is needed.
  • ERP system experience is required.
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude is expected.
  • Familiarity with tools like wrenches and crimpers is desirable.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support our manufacturing and assembly operations. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Somerset, NJ.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $76000.00 - $97000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
