Job summary

Tech One IT is seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Methods Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Lexington, NC. You will drive process engineering efforts and develop manufacturing work instructions, MODs, CRs and QNs, with a focus on rail-related projects.

You will collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams, apply Creo and Windchill at expert level, and use SAP for BOMs and routings.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience with Creo, Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP.
• Experience in manufacturing and production support.
• Harness design experience, electrical/mechanical background.
• Rail industry experience preferred.
• 5-8 years manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support on work instructions, MODs, CRs, QNs.
• Hands on harness design and related manufacturing knowledge.
• Utilize Creo, Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP in project tasks.

Must Have: Hands on experience with Creo, Windchill, Manufacturing experience, Production support experience, Mechanical & Electrical, Harness design, (Rail preferred)

• Hands on work experience on production support on Work instructions, MODs, CRs, QNs etc.
• Hands on harness design or manufacturing knowledge (specific to Electrical Methods Engineer)
• Hands on experience on Creo, Windchill (expert level), Team centre, SAP

Desired Knowledge / Experience

• 5-8 years experience in Manufacturing background with preferably in the railway industry.
• Technical experience of Process Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, MODs, CRs, QNs etc.
• Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up
• Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics.
