Qualifications

Overview

Expected Duration: 6 months

Position: Industrial Process & Manufacturing Engineers

Number of Positions: Two

Educational Requirements

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Field

Desired Knowledge / Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years experience in Manufacturing background in the railway industry.
• Experience on Rolling stock manufacturing (preferred).
• Technical expertise in MIG/TIG welding, distortion/deformation control, and stainless‑steel fabrication.
• MTM (Method-Time Measurement)
• Line balancing
• Proven ability to analyze, optimize, and validate jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Strong competency in Work Instruction writing and documentation governance.
• Knowledge of:
• PFMEA
• Root cause analysis
• 8D/PDCA structured problem solving
• Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up
• Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics.
• Knowledge of CAD and PLM tools (Creo, Windchill, Teamcenter, DELMIA…)
• Lean Manufacturing certification (preferred).
• Green Belt or equivalent certification in structured problem solving (preferred).
• Familiar with IS common tools.
• Strong analytical and investigative mindset.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary production environment.
