Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our Maintenance and Engineering team. This role will focus on driving process improvements, supporting production operations, and contributing to engineering projects that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in our instant ticket printing and finishing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to optimize manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Maintenance, Quality, and R&D to support new product introductions and process changes.
  • Analyze production data and equipment performance to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment and process issues, working closely with maintenance technicians and operators.
  • Lead or support capital improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, layout changes, and automation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all engineering activities.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment; experience in printing or converting industries is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with high-speed printing or finishing equipment.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, or industrial controls.
  • Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $40,887 - $115,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses . In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
