Manufacturing Engineer – Automotive Industry - MISSISSIPPI

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits + Paid Relocation to Mississippi

Recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer for a growing automotive supplier client who is looking to add to their Engineering team. As the Manufacturing Engineer, your daily goals will be:

1. Troubleshooting, tooling and systems design
2. Support process development and production
3. Eliminate equipment and tooling downtime and scrap reduction
4. Create and maintain process flow, PFMEA and line balancing
5. Perform cell layout enhancements
6. Develop FMEA’s and flow charts.

To succeed as a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll need experience with:

1. Strong experience with PLCs
2. Small Project management
3. Cycle time, yields and costs
4. SPC, GD&T as well as Auto Cad
5. Layout of plant and equipment
6. Continuous Improvement processes, scrap reductions
7. Automotive processes such as TS 16949, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, Lean, etc.

Minimum requirements for this Automotive Manufacturing Engineer:

• At least 3 years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Experience with TS 16949, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, etc.
