Job summary

Insight Global in Huntsville is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support existing product lines and help establish new lines for incoming products. You will drive continuous improvement using kaizen, perform capacity studies, and coordinate production planning to meet demands for both new and existing products.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, and hands-on Lean Six Sigma and SAP

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Nice to Have: experience following products from concept through full production.
• Lean/Six Sigma certifications and experience standing up new production lines.
• Experience with military or defense products.
• SAP experience.
• Sheet metal or metal fabrication processes and procedures.

Job Description:

A client in the greater Huntsville area is looking to hire for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer position. This person will be supporting existing product lines, while also helping to set up new product lines for incoming new products. This is a small team and this role's responsibilities include: continuous improvement utilizing kaizen principles, capacity studies, production planning, and overall helping to meet production demands for both new and existing products.

Compensation:

$90,000-$115,000 per year annual salary.
