Duravent Group in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our on-site production facility. This full-time role reports to plant leadership and focuses on improving manufacturing processes.

You will design and optimize processes, collaborate with design teams, implement quality controls, and apply lean methods to boost efficiency while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. We value hands-on problem solving, data-driven decisions, and training of staff on new equipment.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years in manufacturing engineering, preferably HVAC or related.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (Six Sigma, Lean) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of HVAC products and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Current work authorization in the U.S. without requiring future visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for HVAC production.
  • Collaborate with design teams to transition prototypes to production.
  • Specify, design, and procure manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures for high-quality HVAC products.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Collect and analyze production data to monitor performance and identify improvements.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with industry regulations, environmental requirements, and safety standards.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to production staff on new equipment, processes, and procedures.

This Role:

Our team is looking for Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite at our Huntsville, AL production facility. This is a full time, in-person role reporting to plant leadership.

What You Will Do:

This Manufacturing Engineer will help improve the efficiency of manufacturing operations at the Huntsville facility by supporting and improving the facility’s production system, including verifying and improving various manufacturing processes.

How You Will Do It:
  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for the production of HVAC systems and components.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to transition new HVAC products from prototype to full-scale production.
  • Specify, design, and procure manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures to support production needs.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality HVAC products.
  • Apply lean manufacturing and Industrial Engineering principles to eliminate waste, improve production efficiency, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and maintain production flow.
  • Collect and analyze production data to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with industry regulations, environmental requirements, and safety standards.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to production staff on new equipment, processes, and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the HVAC or a related industry.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of HVAC products and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems).
