Job summary

Environmental Air Systems (EAS) seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze and improve large modular assemblies, partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to drive efficiency. You’ll lead projects that boost safety, quality, cost, and delivery while supporting new product introductions and successful vendor engagements.

Ideal candidates have a manufacturing engineering background, strong analytical skills, and experience in ROI-driven capital improvements, with Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • 3–7+ years in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Proven experience evaluating manufacturing processes and leading improvements.
  • Experience developing ROI-based business cases for capital and process improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with manufacturing documentation and standard work.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Experience with welding, piping, mechanical assembly, electrical integration, and system testing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes for large modular assemblies and identify improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
  • Research and engage vendors to support manufacturing improvements.
  • Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support and troubleshooting.
  • Support factory layout optimization, material flow, and labor efficiency.
  • Develop ROI-based business cases for capital expenditures and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Support introduction of new products and designs into manufacturing.
  • Assist quality initiatives including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

This role focuses on evaluating and improving manufacturing processes, supporting daily production operations, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity.
