Loft Orbital, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production of satellite systems and components in our aerospace-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace or high-tech environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC Machining, hand-soldering, harness fabrication) and foundational engineering concepts (kinetics/dynamics, fluid mechanics, power systems, thermodynamics).
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulations (AS9100, IPC, NASA and/or ECSS).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

About this role:

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace or high-tech environments

$95,000 - $125,000 a year

State law requires us to tell you the base compensation range for this role, which is $95,000- $125,000 per year. This is determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we evaluate individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
