Job summary

STULZ Air Technology Systems, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to partner with engineering and production to develop, qualify, and document robust manufacturing processes. The role focuses on safety, quality, and productivity improvements in a fast-paced environment.

You will interface with multiple teams to ensure processes meet on-time delivery and customer satisfaction while leading projects that introduce new products, processes, and technologies across operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Lean Sigma Black Belt
  • PMP Certification
  • ASQ QE Certification
  • Ability to read and understand English instructions

Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualify, continuously improve, and document manufacturing processes and methods.
  • Interface with Safety, Quality, Sales, Design Engineering, and Production teams to ensure manufacturing processes are capable of customer on-time delivery and satisfaction.
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods and techniques to eliminate waste and reduce process variation to improve on-time delivery, reduce lead-time, and reduce costs of manufacturing, office, and field service processes and deliverables.
  • Lead projects to introduce new products, processes and technologies throughout manufacturing operations.

Manufacturing Engineer (Finance)

Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer works with engineering and production resources to develop, qualify, continuously improve, and document manufacturing processes and methods. The Manufacturing Engineer proactively supports manufacturing operations to improve Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, qualify, continuously improve, and document manufacturing processes and methods.
  • Interface with Safety, Quality, Sales, Design Engineering, and Production teams to ensure manufacturing processes are capable of customer on-time delivery and satisfaction.
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods and techniques to eliminate waste and reduce process variation to improve on-time delivery, reduce lead-time, and reduce costs of manufacturing, office, and field service processes and deliverables.
  • Lead projects to introduce new products, processes and technologies throughout manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
  • Discrete manufacturing
  • Lean Continuous Improvement in a Custom Configured, High Mix - Low Volume, Make-to-Order business
  • PLC and CNC programming for machine control
  • CAD/CAM and MS software products
  • Sheet Metal fabrication, welding, pipe brazing, powder coating, wiring, and assembly processes familiarity
  • SAP manufacturing software compitency
  • EH&S and IT knowledge
  • ISO Quality systems and requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Lean Sigma Black Belt
