Job summary

Suru is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support electronics assembly operations in a high-volume environment. You will help optimize production processes, resolve line issues, and support new product introductions to ensure quality and efficiency.

The role focuses on sustaining day-to-day manufacturing activities, driving root-cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field
• 1+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally in electronics
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production of electronic assemblies (SMT, through-hole, box build).
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive root cause and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation and routings.
• Assist with new product introduction (NPI) and line setup.
• Identify opportunities to improve yield, cycle time, quality and cost.
• Work with quality, test and production teams to meet customer requirements.
