Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) in Davenport, IA. This contract role focuses on supporting 3rd shift welding operations, troubleshooting MES and welding processes, and providing hands-on production support.

You will train operators, develop process documentation, and participate in process improvements in a fast-paced onsite environment. Strong welding experience and independence are essential.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Welding Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role requires working from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with overtime and weekend coverage as needed based on production demands. The ideal candidate will provide critical support to ensure the efficiency and productivity of our 3rd shift production operations.

Responsibilities

• Support 3rd shift production operations to maintain uptime and productivity.
• Assist operators, maintenance teams, and salaried staff with production issues.
• Troubleshoot MES (Manufacturing Execution System) issues and both automated and manual welding processes.
• Train operators on processes and equipment.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47.12 - $47.12/hr.
