Job summary

Integrated Personnel Services Limited is seeking an experienced Manufacturing & Industrial Engineer to support the planning, design, and operational launch of a new manufacturing facility in Dallas. The role requires hands-on involvement with greenfield plant setups, expansions, relocations, and production ramp-up.

The candidate will lead layout design, material flow optimization, and capacity planning while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting new plant launches, facility expansions, relocations, or production line installations.
• Experience with plant & facility layout, material flow analysis, capacity planning, time studies, Lean manufacturing, production ramp-up and ERP/MES systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, FactoryCAD, Visio or similar tools.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support new plant setup, expansion, relocation, and production launch activities.
• Develop plant, facility, manufacturing cell, and production line layouts.
• Design efficient material flow, workstation layouts, storage locations, and production workflows.
• Coordinate facility readiness with Operations, Facilities, EHS, IT, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and startup.
• Develop manufacturing processes, process maps, SOPs, work instructions, and manufacturing standards.
• Perform line balancing, takt time, cycle time, time studies, and manpower planning.
• Develop MBOMs, routing structures, and process-flow documentation.
• Conduct capacity analysis, throughput modeling, and bottleneck identification.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, VSM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support pilot builds, pre-production activities, production ramp-up, and launch readiness.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Participate in PFMEA, Process Validation, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, and SPC.

Manufacturing & Industrial Engineer – New Plant Setup

Experience: 8+ Years

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing & Industrial Engineer to support the planning, design, implementation, and operational launch of a new manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands- on experience with greenfield plant setups, brownfield expansions, facility relocations, assembly line installations, factory transfers, or major capacity expansion projects.

This role will focus on taking manufacturing operations from concept and facility planning through equipment installation, production launch, and full-scale ramp-up.

• Lead and support new plant setup, expansion, relocation, and production launch activities.
• Develop plant, facility, manufacturing cell, and production line layouts.
• Design efficient material flow, workstation layouts, storage locations, and production workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting new plant launches, facility expansions, relocations, or production line installations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with greenfield or brownfield manufacturing facility launches.
• Experience in HVAC, data centers, industrial equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, electrical panels, consumer products, packaging, or general manufacturing.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, DFMA, APQP, Control Plans, and SPC.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience with automated assembly and manufacturing equipment.
