Job summary

Lumicity, a clean energy technology company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an onsite role in Connecticut. You will support production, improve processes and help bring new manufacturing lines online.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong root cause analysis, Lean/CI experience and hands-on collaboration with operators and technicians. This is a hands-on role that partners with design, quality and operations to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Strong root cause analysis, troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Hands-on work with production operators and technicians.
• Familiarity with assembly operations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

I’m working with an exciting clean energy technology company looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to its growing engineering and production team.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with a background in manufacturing engineering, production support, process improvement or electromechanical assembly who enjoys hands‑on problem solving and improving manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide hands‑on engineering support to manufacturing and production teams
• Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency and productivity
• Support manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment and production troubleshooting
• Assist with new manufacturing line development, equipment implementation and production ramp‑up
• Collaborate closely with quality, design engineering and operations teams

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment
• Strong root cause analysis, troubleshooting and corrective action experience
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement or process optimization
• Hands‑on experience working with production operators and technicians
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, assembly operations and quality standards
• Background in aerospace, automotive, energy, industrial equipment or electromechanical manufacturing is a plus

Onsite position in Connecticut.
