Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Medical device manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • BS in Engineering; Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing/Chemical/Biomedical/Materials preferred.
  • Six Sigma, Shainin or similar certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing work within the Product Development Lifecycle Management process.
  • Improve product yield and implement process changes to enhance ergonomics and production simplicity.
  • Define manufacturing requirements, review quality control plans and work instructions.
  • Plan and execute process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) to confirm production readiness.
  • Coordinate purchase, installation and start-up of manufacturing equipment; support ramp-up and hand-off.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
  • Lead Lean initiatives to improve workflow, capacity, and resource use; support CAPEX planning.
  • Ensure changes meet safety, quality, regulatory, environmental, legal, and company requirements.

Support production operations by driving process improvements, equipment validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and manufacturing performance.

Your role:

Lead manufacturing work within the Product Development Lifecycle Management process, improve product yield, and implement process changes that enhance ergonomics and simplify production. Define manufacturing requirements, review quality control plans and work instructions, and plan and execute process validation activities. This includes Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification to confirm production readiness. Coordinate the purchase, installation, and start-up of manufacturing equipment, then provide hands‑on support during process ramp‑up and project hand‑over. Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions that improve reliability and production continuity. Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives that improve workflow, capacity, and resource use, and support capital expenditure planning. Ensure changes meet safety, quality, regulatory, environmental, legal, and company requirements. You're the right fit if: You have 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment. Medical device manufacturing experience is preferred. You have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Degrees in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, Biomedical, or Materials Engineering are preferred. You have a Six Sigma, Shainin or similar certification

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office‑based teams, this means working in‑person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full‑time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an onsite role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $96,000 to $152,000 The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long‑term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Additional Information
