About the Role

Voltage is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. You’ll collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to optimize workflows, resolve challenges, and support a rapidly growing manufacturing operation.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, and process documentation.
  • Analyze production workflows to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Establish labor standards and process cycle times.
  • Support process validation and production readiness activities.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process-related issues.
  • Investigate defects and implement corrective actions to improve quality.
  • Support daily production operations to enhance throughput and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturability and reduce waste.
  • Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to reduce scrap, rework, and downtime.
  • Maintain manufacturing records, BOMs, and engineering change documentation.
  • Analyze production data and develop reports to support decision-making.
  • Support ERP transactions and manufacturing system updates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting production environments (wire harness, electrical assembly, automotive, or similar preferred).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
