Job summary

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, propose, and implement manufacturing process and equipment improvements to advance safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.
• Provide leadership and hands-on technical support for manufacturing operations and maintenance activities in a dynamic team environment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and document breakdowns of automated equipment.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, manufacturing work instructions, and maintenance procedures.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and small to medium-scale equipment for in-house fabrication by our machine shop to support manufacturing operations.
• Assist in the specification and procurement of new capital equipment working with outside suppliers.
• Contribute to creative problem solving and implement root cause corrective action as part of cross-functional team events.

On July 1, 2026, Apogee completed the acquisition of Kalwall Enterprises, a vertically integrated manufacturer of high-performance translucent daylighting solutions, based in Manchester, New Hampshire. Kalwall Enterprises is currently being integrated into the Architectural Glass segment in Apogee. This position is based on site at Kalwall Enterprises in Manchester, New Hampshire. We are currently looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to our growing Engineering team.
