Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, invites applications for a role focused on applying statistical analysis and IE concepts to planning and forecasting. You will work closely with Engineering to align metrics, plans and development needs while designing multi‑department projects for precise resource prediction, scheduling, and contingency planning.
You will use data techniques to improve quality and efficiency, create innovative data solutions, and drive improvements in key fab planning metrics.

Apply statistical analysis and Industrial Engineering (IE) concepts to planning and forecasting models. Collaborate closely with Engineering stakeholders, to stay updated on metrics, strategic plans, and development needs. Design and coordinate complex projects involving multiple departments, ensuring accurate resource prediction, scheduling, and contingency planning. Utilize data techniques to establish quality and efficiency improvements and create innovative data solutions to continually improve strategic forecasts. Perform audits to maintain quality and accuracy in manufacturing capacity information, analyze metric quality, and improve modeling techniques. Develop and drive improvements to key fab planning metrics, propose and implement novel modeling concepts, methods, and tools, and perform audits to ensure accurate planning of Manufacturing resources. Evaluate what-if scenarios, design experiments to identify root causes of issues, and analyze internal and external data sources to suggest capacity changes. Communicate effectively with peers, area leadership, and other management levels, presenting complex ideas and significant model impacts. Report on safety-related concerns immediately and perform audits on safety issues. Implement automated data visualization solutions for clear communication with global stakeholders.
