Job summary

Steelfabrication company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate activities including systems fabrication, tooling, welding, robotics, and mechanical assembly. You will provide engineering support to improve product quality and reduce production costs.

Responsibilities include ensuring product designs, documentation, and assembly instructions are accurate and effective; developing work instructions, fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing equipment; promoting safe work practices and

Qualifications

• At least three years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with fabricated or assembled steel products preferred.
• Experience in an automated environment.
• Experience setting time standards, lean manufacturing, line balancing, and process flow.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product designs, documentation, and assembly instructions are accurate, maintained and effective.
• Develops work instructions, designs assembly fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing equipment.
• Develops safe work practices. Seek opportunities for improvements in product and process quality.
• Works with employees to resolve problems and avoid grievances.
